This time Yusi talks about her highlight at Oyama
World campus visits Oyama primary school and learns to use a koma. We also get our names written in kanji. After that we travel to Oyama mountain and get a tour around the shrine by a very entertaining priest.
This time the World Campus – Japan participants get a lecture on Nara and how it was once the capital of Japan. We also learn about learning about Zen meditation and get to try in a budist temple under the instructions of a monk. Sara talks about her experience with these topics.

Today we went to the bamboo forest. Michael talks about his experience with cutting down grass and bamboo trees, followed by crafting utensils and toys out of bamboo. We were also lucky enough, to see a traditional Japanese performance (drumming, and singing in Kimonos.)
