CEO visits the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies

On November 14th, with the invitation from Professor Kanazawa and Professor Miyagawa, the World Campus International CEO, Hiro Nishimura visited the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies and made a presentation of the World Campus -Japan Spring ’09 program. Over 40 interested young men and women from the university came to the presentation. And quite a few of them are eager to apply for the program.

WCI General Manager, Bob Sloat met with 20 Up with People (UwP) cast members this past weekend in North Platte, Nebraska to talk about ways to implement their skills after their program time by joining World Campus – Japan in 2009. He was met with a warm reception and would like to thank the UwP team for having him as a guest. We are looking forward to continuing the tradition of welcoming UwP alumni to Japan with WCI!

General Manager Bob Sloat Will be in North Platte, Nebraska

On Saturday, November 15th, Bob Sloat will be visiting Up with People Cast B 2008 in North Platte, Nebraska to do a World Campus – Japan program presentation for interested international group members and others for coming to Japan in 2009. The presentation will be at North Platte High School, 1000 W.2nd Street, North Platte at 12:00 noon and last for about 45 minutes. During this past week, General Manager, Bob Sloat was in southern California for a day to work with WCI’s North American marketing partner, AsiaLearn at the campus of the University of California – San Diego. Bob and Zac Einerson, AsiaLearn’s Western United States Regional Director (left to right in photo) spent time on the beautiful campus talking with students and letting them know about the World Campus — Japan program options for Spring 2009.
